Born and raised in rural Oregon, my love for photography grew naturally out of a passion for travel – getting lost in new places, meeting people from all corners of the world, and listening to the stories that shaped them. It was through these experiences that I realized I wanted to remember these raw moments as they were.  One decent sized investment later and I was packing around my first mirrorless camera EVERYWHERE. From the Oregon Coast, to New Zealand, she was always at my side, helping me learn what to focus on - the details.

 

I started small with the pedals of flowers, the quiet movement of animals, and vibrant colors of different landscapes.  Eventually I found myself studying the people around me. The moments that shaped them, the laughter they shared, and the way their bodies got lost in rhythm of the music around them.  

 

Over time, I realized what I loved most was capturing those small, honest moments that tell the story of a simple time and place. The kind of moments you feel more than you see.

I'm Hayley, a mother, a creator, and most importantly, a dreamer. When I’m not behind the lens, you’ll usually find me lifting heavy weights, climbing to higher elevations, getting wrapped up in the occasional love story, or chasing after my beautiful babies... often all in the same week. Photography fills my cup, but my life outside the camera and the moments that make it so special give it meaning.
